We bought a travel camper intending to travel the US but found that we only traveled to Gettysburg, PA, and spent our free time exploring the picturesque scenery that is Gettysburg and fell in love with the vibe.
During one of our camping adventures, we were stuck inside due to rain, and we stumbled across 150 Stratton and fell in love. We met with the Real Estate Agent and have been blessed to call 150 Stratton ours ever since.
We enjoy spending time hiking through the many trails, driving and site seeing through the Battlefields, hanging out at the local wineries and vineyards, dining at the many close by restaurants, Skiing, Snow Boarding or Tubing at Ski Liberty Mountain Resort, and checking out the quirky sites like Mr. Ed’s Elephant Emporium. To mention a few things!
The House
Built in 1911, 150 Stratton features many of the home's original features, from the horse-hair plaster and original hardwood floors to the foyer staircase. After 111+ years, 150 Stratton has many stories to tell through its blemishes.
150 Stratton's first floor features a beautiful foyer with an entry table, 1920's inspired parlor, a rustic-styled living room with a 55" TV, a dining room with seating for 6, a full bathroom, and a full kitchen with everything you need to make a warm hearty meal on a chilly night.
The second floor features a full bathroom, laundry room with lots of natural sunlight, and three bedrooms with full-size beds and TVs with firestick for your entertainment.
The third floor features a spacious bedroom with a 55" inch TV, a built-in window seat with bookshelves, and a rocking chair perfect for a glass of wine and a book.
Finally, the outdoor space features a large wrap-around porch with seating perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The backyard features a fenced-in area, three-car parking pad, child's playhouse, tree swing, patio set, privately enclosed hot spa, and firepit perfect for smores and hot cocoa on those chilly nights.
